These are the most popular mattresses we offer. Stretch out on these mattresses custom made for The East Coast Organic Mattress Store®Inc. and you’ll see what we mean. We also use organic cotton flannel ticking made in South Carolina, certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), in our new improved diamond pattern covering. Inside, there is a 6 inch center core of odor-free natural white Dunlop latex. With the uniform cell structure of the latex, this natural rubber has the ultimate feel.
This Sri Lanka Dunlop rubber core is surrounded by organic cotton webbing, also GOTS-certified organic. The padding materials under the top cotton fabric are made with a blend of GOTS-certified organic wool and Pure Pacific Northwest Oregon/California Eco Wool®. Wool is a natural fire retardant, and dust mite repellant
Available in Med/Firm #80-D (good for most people who prefer a semi plush feel) or Firm #90- D (people who prefer a firmer mattress or have larger body proportions) with a natural rubber core. For an even firmer feel, ask about our 95-D extra firm core. For a more plush feel, add our own private label Natural Rubber and Pure Wool Bahia Honda® #75 D Soft 4 inch Flippable Pillow Top. For a traditional look, or just to be higher off the ground, add a slatted 8-inch solid Spruce Amish built wood foundation. The Key West mattress has a flannel removable zippered cover of GOTS-certified organic cotton. Just unzip yearly and flip and rotate the core. Zipper covers make it easy to replace a rubber core or a cover if need be. Spot clean the cover with vinegar and water. Do not wash the cover. Professionally dry clean only at a reputable green cleaner. The Key Largo has no zipper, so you just flip the mattress yearly. Protect your mattress with an organic wool or cotton mattress protector, also certified organic to the GOTS standard.

You rest atop two levels of Natural White Sri Lanka Latex, surrounded by cotton flannel ticking made in the Carolinas and certified organic to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).The padding materials under the top cotton fabric are made with a blend of GOTS-certified organic wool and Pure Pacific Northwest Oregon/California Eco Wool®. The whole foundation is covered with more of our fine GOTS-certified organic cotton flannel ticking.
Couples might consider a combination of Medium/Firm 80-D on one side, for a sleeper who weighs 190 lbs or less, and Firm 90-D on the other side, for a sleeper weighing 190 lbs or more. You will still both get the luxurious feel you deserve, with the built in one piece 3” thick 75-D pillow top. This mattress is rated Semi Plush, well designed and very popular. Spot clean with vinegar and water. Do not wash cover. Protect your mattress with an organic wool or cotton mattress protector, also certified organic to the GOTS standard. This mattress has a new improved removable zipper cover at the top for easy flipping of the cores. Zipper covers also make things easier to clean or replace in case of an accident. You can use our Oxford futon frame for this futon, or most other futon frames on the market. Our frame converts into a bed by night and a couch by day. UPS Shipping is included for the futon and freight shipping is included for the frame. We put cotton batting at the core of our futons for a firm foundation and surround it with soft, pure wool or more cotton, which conforms to your body curves and allows your skin to breathe. If you should discover a defect in your new product from The Organic Mattress Store Inc. Private Label line, contact us immediately. If a defect that is covered by the warranty is discovered within the warranty period, The OMS will replace or repair (at our option) the defective item within a reasonable time frame. The Organic Mattress Store Inc. reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate this warranty when, upon inspection, the product is found to be in unsanitary condition, or when the product failure is due to cause other than defective workmanship or materials. The Organic Mattress Store Inc. does not warrant that this product is suitable for any person’s medical or personal allergy conditions. The Organic Mattress Store Inc. makes no warranty beyond what is contained here in writing. No comfort exchanges will be offered . We will however offer a new softer or harder core purchase. You are just responsible for the shipping charges and the new core charges. For a one time offer we will sell you a core at wholesale plus 10% handling fees. There is no need to return the original core.We cannot refund the purchase price of your mattress, (or set) according to Federal Law, it is not resalable.This policy will assure that you will always receive brand new product,and not something that has been returned to a manufacturer. We feel along with our manufacturers that the movement of returned cores from other mattress retailers around the country only spells trouble. What can happen is a core starts off in a customer's house, and might possibly pick up bedbugs, or become contaminated with perfumes, or smells, etc.It then goes back onto the truck and back to the manufacturer. On that truck possibly full of old discarded mattresses, it might pick up more fumes, more bedbugs, etc. Back at the manfacturer even though it's a federal law to destroy the mattress core and not resell it, the fumes or bedbugs can contaminate the facility, or parts of it. This is why The East Coast Organic Mattress Store Inc.®. products are individually made to order and returns can not be accepted due to any type of allergic reaction or due to non-tolerance of any natural aroma. If you choose a mattress that is too firm, it can be resolved by purchasing a mattress topper that we sell, or a softer core. If there is a cancellation of the mattress (don’t want it) after it is shipped, or refused at delivery, unless it is damaged, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs both to and from the manufacturer, or the origin of the shipping address. Products can not be refused at time of delivery for any reason other than damage.
Once an order is processed, and a credit card is swiped or entered into the system for a customer, either on the phone, or in the store, The East Coast Organic Mattress Store pays a processing fee to the credit card company. If a customer cancels the order, the store making the sale can charge the customer the percentage (%) fee plus the (%) fee when they cancel the order and the monies get refunded to the customer. If a customer takes a check back instead of doing a credit card refund, it can save the customer the extra fees. Please be aware fees can change daily by the issuing credit card companies.
Damaged merchandise will require photos showing damage.Send photos via e mail or snail mail to the seller to be reimbursed. Any cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the sale, or they can not be granted. All mattresses under the private label of The East Coast Organic Mattress Store are made to order and will be made for you after this time.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Body impressions of 1.5 inches or less. This is normal in the breaking in period. For King, and Queen Mattresses. Sleep in the center of the bed to break the wools in evenly on the sides. Mattresses sold off of the floor as showroom models, or as is. Inappropriate handling of the innerspring mattress such as bending in the center.
WOOD FOUNDATIONS
Splits in the wood frame, loose or broken pieces are covered. Be careful with moving foundations with all that weight on it. Use proper center support. Sagging is covered provided your mattress is continuously supported by a matching foundation and a sturdy center rail or center support, with an appropriate slatted frame.
OTHER ITEMS NOT COVERED
•Stains, soiling, burns, or odors. The OMS cannot repair a mattress if it is returned in unsanitary condition. Protect your mattress with a wool, or cotton pillow top moisture pad. •Damage caused by moving, •Transportation costs, •Comfort preference, •Sheet fit, •Damage due to abuse, •Structural damage due to improper bed frame. •Ripped handles,(handles are meant to assist in positioning the mattress on the foundation).•Stitching coming undone (this will not compromise the mattress), •Issues of firmness,• Excessive body weight, •Other possibilities not mentioned here on this warranty.

Caring for your Mattress
You are now the proud owner of an East Coast Organic Mattress Store mattress. As the years go by you will look back and be glad you invested in the finest product available. For the next 1/3 of your life you will have the piece of mind knowing as you sleep that you’re safe from the off gassing associated with conventional mattresses. The Wool, Cotton and Natural Rubber cores are the best materials we could find. We have said it once and we will say it again, our motto is to find the best materials available at the time and use them in our products. We do not compromise the quality ever.
Every 6 months,flip your Bahia Honda pillow top. Do not use the handles, if any. Just open up the zipper cover like a clamshell, take out the rubber core and simply flip and rotate the rubber core inside. Make sure to put the core back inside the cover all squared up and then rezip the cover shut. As for the mattress, which is much larger and bulkier, we strongly advise to unzip the cover, and flip and rotate the rubber core inside the cover every 6 months up to a year. For Sewn shut mattresses just flip the entire mattress once a year or go by the mattress manufacturers instructions, since each is different. Do not use the handles, if any. Just like the pillow top, if your mattress has a zipper cover, make sure to put the core back inside the cover all squared up and then rezip the cover. Take your time to push the natural rubber core back inside your pillow top, or mattress evenly so that the zipper does not get caught up on the rubber core.
The Organic Mattress Store highly advises using a mattress protector. If there are issues with babies, pets, people, or anything else that can cause liquids ending up on top of the mattress, (eating breakfast in bed is back in style), then we recommend you purchase a wool mattress protector made with organic wool. For issues that do not concern liquids, then we recommend using a cotton mattress protector made with certified organic cotton. If liquids spill on the bed immediately take off the sheet, and take off the mattress protector and take it over to the sink, and spot clean it around the spot stained with a vinegar and water mixture. Let it air dry then replace it back over the pillow top, or mattress. It makes no sense to have to launder the entire mattress pad just for one spot. When laundering your mattress pads, use the easy cycle and air fluff, or hang to dry. Since these are organic materials, you cannot throw these covers in the washer and dryer on hot or they might shrink. They are made a little big to allow for shrinkage, but with the different variety of wools and cottons used its best to go easy on the materials. Use only Natural cleaning materials when washing any organic products. We recommend natural laundry detergents which are available locally, thru independent dealers, or most Health food stores and larger supermarkets
The Organic Mattress Store makes most of their mattresses and pillowtop covers with zippers. The OMS does this so that you can easily have the cover organically professionally cleaned if you have to. Do not attempt to wash a mattress cover or pillowtop cover on your own or it will shrink.With protection like a wool mattress protector over the pillow top, or mattress, you reduce your chances of having to clean the cover significantly.Search locally for a cleaner who uses organic materials.We see them popping up all over the country. Get it in writing from the cleaner that if the cover shrinks they will have to replace it. If you end up needing a new mattress or pillowtop cover give the store a call where you purchased the product from and they will assist you in ordering a new cover.
